Celebrate National Tap Dance Day with a good, ol' fashioned Tap Jamboree hosted by Tappy Feet. Join us for two hours of foot-stomping, drum-banging, pan-clanging, Shuffle-Off-To-Buffalo madness. The first hour will be a public jam session where anyone can borrow tap shoes and various percussion instruments and make rhythms along with a host of experienced drummers. The second hour will feature the music of Amanda Capper, and a percussive dance improv jam session of experienced dancers. Jam and Brie from Mondo Market rounds out this Jamboree. This is a free event but donations to help keep tap dance alive are most welcome.
